Danish LEGO toys, based on the "One Piece" live-action series, have not only released the heartwarming Going Merry and the Baratie Sea Restaurant with over three thousand pieces, sets, but have also unveiled two new additions to their "BrickHeadz" series, numbered 40799 and 40800: "Monkey D. Luffy" and "Buggy the Clown Figure"! They are scheduled for release on August 1, 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$9.99 each.
LEGO BrickHeadz is a product series that reinterprets characters with large heads and chibi proportions, allowing collectors to collect numerous characters in a unified style. This time, "Luffy" and "Buggy" are built with 136 and 176 pieces respectively. Luffy recreates his classic straw hat, red and blue outfit, the scar below his left eye, and actor Iñaki Godoy's tanned skin tone from the series; Buggy fully restores his flamboyant hat, costume, and iconic red nose! The printed parts for the pirate crew LOGO are also fantastic.
