If you're into Gunpla, you know the drill: painting, cutting, weathering – it's all about making your model stand out. But some dedicated builders take it a step further, crafting entire mobile suits that haven't even hit the market yet, truly going above and beyond.
Recently, Japanese Gunpla enthusiast hide (@hide31151107) blew minds on X (formerly Twitter) with his incredible rendition of "Quiet Zero" from the latter half of "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury." The intricate details combined with its sheer scale have earned him some serious props.

"Quiet Zero" is the colossal Permet facility secretly co-developed by Prospera Mercury and Delling Rembran. It's designed to construct and expand the Data Storm network generated by the Aerial Gundam and its GUND-Bits. Essentially, it's a massive Data Storm amplifier, featuring multiple giant Permet transmission units and armor plating. Its joints house numerous large thrusters, giving Quiet Zero mobility. Calling it a fortress-ship wouldn't be an exaggeration.

Using official mechanical design specs, hide meticulously modeled and 3D printed each component of "Quiet Zero." To nail its in-show scale, he even used existing Gunpla kits as reference points to ensure accuracy.

And get this – he even embedded lighting within the model to perfectly replicate its glowing appearance from the anime!

The finished masterpiece was unveiled today (June 7) at the "Hachioji Model Exhibition" in Tokyo. Seeing "Quiet Zero" towering next to regular MS Gunpla kits really drives home its colossal, over-the-top presence!

▼ It was even displayed alongside nearly 30 other Gunpla kits at the exhibition.
Bandai hasn't actually released a Gunpla kit for "Quiet Zero" yet, which definitely explains why so many fans are itching to build their own. This large-scale, lit-up creation truly showcases hide's incredible skill. If you're curious, head over to his X account to check out more of his work – it might just spark some fresh Gunpla inspiration for you!
