American toy manufacturer JADA TOYS has once again launched a new product based on Capcom's "Street Fighter" series – the "Vega" 6-inch action figure, with a suggested retail price of US$29.99, slated for release in Q3 2025!
The series' antagonist, Vega, is a Spanish ninja bullfighter obsessed with the idea that "beauty is absolute." He possesses an abnormal pursuit of beauty, a narcissist who is both beautiful and powerful, and is considered the progenitor of handsome male characters in fighting games. Vega's original Japanese name is "バルログ (Balrog)." Due to another character, "M. Bison," bearing too much resemblance to the famous American boxer Tyson, the names of several of the Four Heavenly Kings were swapped in the Western localization. Therefore, Vega appears under the name "Vega" in this series released by the American manufacturer JADA TOYS!
This Vega 6-inch action figure stands approximately 15.2 cm tall and features his classic appearance from "Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers." The sculpt faithfully recreates his slender physique, mysterious masked look, and costume inspired by classic bullfighter attire. His signature pale purple tattoos are also accurately painted. The braid and the fabric around his waist appear to have internal wires, allowing for flexible posing to recreate aerial techniques such as the Flying Barcelona Attack and Izuna Drop as desired! Accessories include an interchangeable masked head sculpt, an unmasked head sculpt, two sets of interchangeable hands, a mask accessory, detachable weapon claws, and claw effect parts to powerfully depict his thrusting movements!
