Shanghai-based Chinese model manufacturer HASUKI has unveiled the 14th release in its 1/12-scale “Pocket Art (PA)” action figure series: the “Tactical Ming – Jinwu Vanguard” soft-goods articulated figure. The figure is priced at 378 yuan and is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2027!
Created through a collaboration between HASUKI and emerging tactical lifestyle brand TRN-TacticalGroup, “Tactical Ming – Jinwu Vanguard” was first announced in March 2024, with an unpainted prototype displayed later that same year. Samples subsequently appeared at only a handful of events, but the fully painted prototype has finally been revealed. Its distinctive combination of traditional Chinese armor and modern Western military equipment attracted collectors’ attention from the project’s earliest stages. Even after more than two years in development, the opening of preorders has once again generated considerable buzz.
The “Tactical Ming – Jinwu Vanguard” 1/12-scale soft-goods action figure stands approximately 16.5 cm tall. It combines the military-style articulated heroine aesthetic for which HASUKI is known with traditional Chinese armor, creating an unconventional beauty through the contrast between the two styles. The outfit mixes genuine fabric garments with plastic accessories. Unlike the previously displayed unpainted prototype, the finished armor is constructed from finely detailed overlapping plates, giving it the appearance of genuine layered armor. Beneath the tactical vest, the camouflage uniform incorporates tailoring inspired by traditional Hanfu and a pleated skirt. The heroine’s dignified face sculpt and the long red ribbon trailing from her ponytail complete an imposing, general-like appearance.
In addition to the default calm expression, the figure includes shouting and masked face plates. The included eye-adjustment tool allows collectors to freely change the direction of her gaze, while five additional pairs of interchangeable hands provide plenty of options for dynamic poses.
Her weapons and equipment include a QBZ195T rifle, three additional rifle magazines, a tactical vest with shoulder armor, arm guards, a tactical belt with skirt armor, a walkie-talkie, navigation panel, and smartphone panel. Combined with the dedicated display stand, these accessories allow collectors to create powerful standing and combat poses!
