If you're into Gunpla, you've probably dabbled in all sorts of customization – painting, cutting, weathering, you name it. These techniques are awesome for making your models truly unique, and blending them with other themes unlocks endless creative freedom!
Remember that amazing Gunpla based on "Kurimanju" from Chiikawa by Twitter user Kumadai ( @oqPpSH1ZhXLW4zA ) we featured before? Well, they're back with another fantastic Chiikawa-themed creation! This time, it's "Hachiware" getting the Gunpla treatment, and its hilarious, imaginative design is earning major props from netizens.
Looking at the mobile suit, it's clearly a repainted and modified RX-78-2 Gundam Gunpla. The head has been cleverly sculpted to resemble Hachiware's face, complete with its signature colors, creating a truly amusing look. What's even better is the custom gear: Hachiware's iconic extermination stick is mounted on its back, alongside a camera setup! That long lens can even be attached to the beam rifle, turning it into a sniper rifle.
Wait, is that juice on its back?! LOL.
Exterminate!
Camera, long lens, extermination stick, and shield – a four-in-one combo! Turns out this Hachiware Gunpla is a sniper, after all!
And check out this weird, eggplant-like beam saber!
Kumadai mentioned that this was actually a happy accident; they're still a Gunpla newbie and never expected their random creations to be so popular. They plan to keep experimenting with more combinations in the future.
▼ They even joked that this kind of mod is probably the easiest. XD
▼ Displayed alongside the previous "Kurimanju" Gunpla.
Feeling inspired to try your own custom Gunpla? Grab some parts and give it a shot – you might just create something even more hilarious!
