Japan's Bandai, through its character-themed apparel and lifestyle goods brand, BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION (Bancolle!), announced today (May 28) the commercialization of the school uniform sweater worn by protagonist Machu (Yoha Amate) in the upcoming 2025 Gundam anime sensation, "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX." Priced at 7,700 JPY, pre-orders are now open on Bandai's Premium Bandai website in Japan.
Bandai has faithfully recreated the sweater from Machu's initial school uniform design, as envisioned by artist Take. This design stands out from traditional Gundam character styles, perfectly capturing Machu's unique personality under Take's artistic direction.
Beyond replicating the character's look, the sweater features a school logo tag at the bottom and adopts the same oversized, relaxed fit that Machu sports, including that distinctively wide neckline. Now you can rock the exact same style as Machu!
