From Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical theme brand MECHA SMILE, the "THE GATTAI" series of completed combination toys today revealed information on the latest product currently under development, "Black Wing," from the classic robot anime "Super Beast Machine God Dancouga." The release date is yet to be determined.
Following "Dancouga" and "Daigan," the "THE GATTAI" series has once again announced its third installment: Black Knight Team leader Alan Igor's personal machine, "Black Wing." The product is based on the latest design drawings by designer Masami Obari. In its raptor-like fighter jet form, it boasts an impressive wingspan of 42.5 cm, and can transform into a 20 cm tall robot form through a complete transformation mechanism.
"THE GATTAI Black Wing" can combine with the separately sold "THE GATTAI HAGANE WORKS Dancouga" to recreate the dream form "Ultimate Dancouga," which never appeared in the anime. It comes with its dedicated weapon, the "Dancouga Kouga Sword," and can also recreate the pose for unleashing its special move, "Ultimate Dancouga Cannon." Furthermore, it features an original toy mechanism, allowing it to transform into a weapon for Ultimate Dancouga!
