▼ I mean, just look at these trending topics. Enough said.

Picking up from last week's cliffhanger, the episode opens with Maciu in the GQuuuuuuX facing off against Nean in the GFreD. Initially unaware of each other's identities, the two are thrown into turmoil when they realize they've become adversaries. When Maciu attempts to interfere with Lalah's time-freeze by activating a lock within the GQuuuuuuX system, she is violently repelled.

Just then, a familiar figure appears: "The Red Comet," Char Aznable, instantly recognized by Kycilia. Char formally reveals himself, but when Kycilia demands he either serve under her or die, he refuses.

As Kycilia moves to shoot Char, both Maciu and Nean intervene. In the ensuing chaos, Char grabs Maciu and makes his escape.

While on the run, the pair discovers a "Red Gundam" that suddenly emits a brilliant flash of light. In a jaw-dropping moment, Char's clothes are transformed back into his classic One Year War-era Zeon uniform. "This is the me she (Lalah) recognizes..." he explains. Fans on social media immediately dubbed the scene a "magical girl transformation," proving that even after all these years, nobody does it with more style than Char.

Char's goal is to stop Lalah, who is hiding in "Sharon's Rose," from further distorting spacetime and triggering an even larger "Jequenova." Meanwhile, Shuji appears within a shimmering temporal space, claiming he's from "the other side" and has brought something to save this universe. That something turns out to be... the original RX-78-2 Gundam. As this bombshell drops, the ending credits roll, but instead of the usual theme, it's the iconic ending song from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, "BEYOND THE TIME." The incredible needle drop left longtime fans absolutely stunned.

Shortly after the broadcast, TM NETWORK, the band behind the legendary song, announced that this was a new 2025 recording that would be hitting streaming platforms soon.

With the twelfth and final episode of GQuuuuuuX airing next week, fans are on the edge of their seats wondering how this epic story will conclude. What other surprises does this series have in store for its grand finale?
