Summer's here, and brands across Japan are rolling out their highly anticipated "summer lucky bags" (fukubukuro)! We've already seen the buzz around the Mos Burger x Haikyuu!! collaboration summer lucky bag, which had fans scrambling.
Not to be outdone, McDonald's Japan is jumping into the fray! Starting today (July 7), they're accepting lottery applications via their official app for the "2025 McDonald's Summer Chance Bag." This limited-edition summer fukubukuro not only packs four super cute original merchandise items but also includes free meal vouchers worth up to 3,560 JPY. All for just 3,500 JPY, it's no wonder consumers are lining up to try their luck!
So, what's inside this year's McDonald's Summer Lucky Bag? Feast your eyes on these goodies:
▼ Big Mac-shaped Mini Fan
This desktop mini fan shaped like a Big Mac is an absolute showstopper! It'll keep you cool and look amazing on your desk – a must-have for any Big Mac fanatic.
▼ Coca-Cola Collaboration Cold Drink Cup
Designed to look just like a classic Coke can, this cup screams summer refreshment and is your perfect companion for icy drinks (though it's not insulated, so drink up!).

And just like the year-end lucky bags, there's a chance to snag a 500 JPY "Golden McDonald's Card" inside! About 1 in 10 bags will have one.
