Audiences who recently caught the IMAX screening of "The Fantastic Four" likely had the exclusive opportunity to preview the first trailer for "Avatar" sequel, "Fire and Ash." Now, that highly anticipated trailer has officially been released online for public viewing.
James Cameron returns to direct "Fire and Ash," co-writing the screenplay with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, the acclaimed writing duo behind "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." The film is slated for a December 19 release in North America.

The ensemble cast features returning stars Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Zoë Saldaña, Sam Worthington, Cliff Curtis, and Sigourney Weaver. New additions include Oona Chaplin as Varang, a leader of the Ash People, and David Thewlis, who joins the cast in an undisclosed Na'vi role.
