Sony Pictures Animation, fresh off the global success of their fantasy musical film "KPop Demon Hunters" which premiered on Netflix this year, is now gearing up to promote its major theatrical release for next year, "GOAT," with the official debut of its first teaser trailer.
The film is co-directed by Tyree Dillihay, who previously helmed episodes of the Fox animated series "Bob's Burgers," and Adam Rosette, known for directing episodes of the Netflix animated series "Harvey Girls Forever!" The screenplay was penned by Aaron Buchsbaum and Teddy Riley, the writing duo behind the Amazon animated series "Fairfax." "GOAT" is slated for a North American release on February 13, 2026.

The voice cast for "GOAT" features a star-studded lineup including Nick Kroll, Patton Oswalt, Aaron Pierre, Gabrielle Union, Nicola Coughlan, and Jennifer Hudson. Joining them are "Stranger Things" alums David Harbour, known for his role as Chief Hopper, and Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas. NBA superstar Stephen Curry, who also serves as a producer on the film, lends his voice to a role.
The movie follows Will, a young goat with big dreams, who gets a once-in-a-lifetime chance to join a professional sports team. This high-intensity, co-ed, all-encompassing sport is dominated by the fastest and fiercest animals on Earth. Will's new teammates aren't thrilled about a goat joining the roster, but Will is determined to change the game and prove his worth.
