Based on Jack El-Hai's 2013 biography "The Nazi and the Psychiatrist," the film boasts a stellar cast including Richard E. Grant, Michael Shannon, John Slattery, Russell Crowe, Leo Woodall, Colin Hanks, Donald Sage Mackay, and Rami Malek. It is set to open in North American theaters on November 7.
As the title implies, the film centers on the historic Nuremberg Trials. The narrative follows Malek's character, American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, as he assesses the mental health of Nazi war criminals. The core of the film explores the intense psychological struggle between Kelley and Russell Crowe's Hermann Göring, Adolf Hitler's deputy.
