ONKYO's sub-brand ANIMA has previously teamed up with popular anime like Bocchi the Rock!, BanG Dream! MyGO!!!!! / Ave Mujica, and the hit mobile game Blue Archive, earning rave reviews from fans.
Now, they're back with another epic collaboration, this time with "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM," dropping exclusive "ANIMA AOW04" wireless Bluetooth earbuds. Priced at 18,000 JPY, pre-orders kick off on August 8, 2025, via the ONKYO official website.
Built on the highly acclaimed "ANIMA AOW04" model, these earbuds boast premium sound quality, Bluetooth 5.3 support, IPX4 splash resistance, AAC codec, MEMS microphones, and ambient sound capture. Featuring high-performance CoClear diaphragms, they deliver both exceptional audio and distinct character.
This collaboration offers four distinct character versions: Kira Yamato, Lacus Clyne, Athrun Zala, and Cagalli Yula Athha. Each set features unique design elements and patterns on the charging case and earbud shells, tailored to their respective characters. Even the packaging showcases specially drawn illustrations, with each character sporting their matching earbuds.
The standout feature? Built-in character-specific voice prompts! Power on/off, Bluetooth pairing, touch controls – all operational sounds have been freshly recorded by the original voice actors from the anime. Each version comes loaded with 11 unique voice prompts, covering everything from startup to pairing and touch feedback.
But wait, there's more! This collab also brings a lineup of awesome merchandise, including acrylic stands featuring the new artwork, earbud drawstring pouches, and wireless charging pads, all available for purchase.
