ONKYO's sub-brand, ANIMA, has previously delighted fans with popular collaborations, including partnerships with the critically acclaimed anime series Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM, BanG Dream! MyGO/Ave Mujica, and the mobile game Blue Archive.
Now, ANIMA is joining forces with the highly popular series "WIND BREAKER" to release an exclusive collaborative wireless Bluetooth earbud model, the "ANIMA AOW04." Priced at 18,000 JPY, pre-orders are already open on the official ONKYO website.
Built upon the brand's well-received "ANIMA AOW04" model, these earbuds boast high-fidelity audio technology, Bluetooth 5.3 support, IPX4 splash resistance, AAC codec compatibility, MEMS microphones, and ambient sound capture. The earbud drivers utilize highly acclaimed CoClear diaphragms, delivering both exceptional sound quality and a distinctive personality.
This inaugural collaboration between the two brands centers around the protagonist, "Haruka Sakura," with a design inspired by the "Bofurin" style. Both the left and right earbuds, along with the charging case, feature the iconic Bofurin High School emblem and team crest, seamlessly integrating the series' world into the product's design.
The standout feature of this collaboration is the built-in character-exclusive voice prompts! Power on/off, Bluetooth pairing, touch controls, and other operational sounds are all newly recorded by Haruka Sakura (CV: Yuma Uchida). With a total of 11 unique voice lines covering actions like powering on, off, pairing, and touch commands, you'll hear Haruka's distinct voice with every interaction.
