During the filming of Marvel's "Daredevil: Born Again" Season 2, star Charlie Cox revealed at a Galaxy Con event in the US that the season will feature a brand-new Daredevil suit "not found in the comics." He also unexpectedly referred to the upcoming season as the "final chapter," sparking significant fan discussion.

While previous set photos have offered audiences a glimpse of Daredevil's black suit, Cox further elaborated at the event, stating that one of his most anticipated highlights is this costume, specifically designed for the series and never before seen in the original comics.
He stated, "In this final chapter of the season, we've done something that isn't in the comics, something unique to our show, and I'm really excited about it." However, Marvel executives, including Brad Winderbaum, have previously indicated that the series was initially planned for multiple seasons, leaving it uncertain whether it will indeed conclude after its second run.
In the first season finale, "Daredevil" Matt Murdock realized that to defeat "Kingpin" Wilson Fisk, he would need to gather more allies, leading him to plan operations at Josie's Bar. Despite the team's limited strength, Jessica Jones is confirmed to return and bolster the resistance with crucial support.
When showrunner Dario Scardapane was asked by "Entertainment Weekly" whether characters like Luke Cage or "Iron Fist" Danny Rand would join the series, he did not directly confirm their involvement but hinted that more "superheroes" would appear in Season 2 to confront Kingpin.
He emphasized that any character introduction must serve the story, adding, "We are definitely considering those characters, but how they will be presented remains a closely guarded secret."
