The upcoming "Highlander" reboot, helmed by "John Wick" franchise director Chad Stahelski, has added Karen Gillan to its growing cast. Gillan is set to play Heather, the mortal wife of protagonist Connor MacLeod, who will be portrayed by Henry Cavill.

Gillan marks the second "Guardians of the Galaxy" alum to join the film, following Dave Bautista, who was previously confirmed to play the main villain, The Kurgan. The two previously starred as Nebula and Drax, respectively, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
