For all you PVC and figure collectors out there, beyond just posing or displaying your prized possessions, there's always that itch to capture them through photography, making them even more captivating and lifelike.
Recently, a photographer YouTuber dropped a short video featuring a prize figure of Akaza from "Demon Slayer" that absolutely blew up on YouTube, racking up over 5 million views! Netizens are showering praise on his incredible skill, amazed at how he transformed a relatively inexpensive prize figure into something breathtakingly cool.

The video comes courtesy of Yuichi (@yuichi_cam_), a photographer specializing in product shots. This time, he took on the challenge of an Akaza prize figure from "Demon Slayer," meticulously recreating the scene where Akaza unleashes his Blood Demon Art, "Destructive Kill: Compass Needle." The entire process was incredibly detailed.
▼ Of course, you need the figure itself first!

First up, he cut black board material and painted it brown to create a convincing wooden floor effect.

Next, he digitally drew the snowflake-like pattern of the "Destructive Kill: Compass Needle" Blood Demon Art array. After printing it out and sticking it onto a black board, he carefully cut out the shape according to the design.

For the shooting setup, he used a glass table, placing the finished "Destructive Kill: Compass Needle" array on top. A black background was added behind it, with blue lights shining from below and the side. He then shot the scene head-on with a DSLR camera. Finally, he positioned the Akaza figure in the center of the cut-out array, added smoke effects, and fired off a burst of over ten shots.

During post-production, he fine-tuned the lighting, shadows, and smoke details using software, giving the whole scene an even more immersive feel. The final masterpiece shows the blue and white snowflake array seemingly emerging from the ground, surrounded by swirling smoke, with Akaza radiating an intense aura, looking as spectacular as any anime special effect.
