Since its launch, the mobile game Pokémon Sleep has charmed players with its adorable sleep-themed gameplay, earning widespread praise. Many even use it as a handy tool to track their sleep quality and overall health.
As the game celebrates its second anniversary, it's been rolling out a series of "Pokémon Wake-Up" themed videos. Previous clips like "Arcanine at 5 AM" and "A Refreshing Morning with Bewear" already got everyone talking. Today (August 25), the official account dropped the final video in the series, starring the ever-popular Eevee. Titled "A Lively Morning with Eevee," its charming and affectionate interactions have fans gushing over its cuteness.
The "A Lively Morning with Eevee" short film perfectly captures the adorable daily interactions within the game. It shows Eevee bursting into the room with boundless energy first thing in the morning, bouncing onto the bed, pouncing on its owner for some affectionate rubs, and then quickly dashing out once it's had enough playtime. This scene has resonated deeply with many viewers.
But hold up! This scene is almost identical to a viral husky video that circulated on Japanese social media back in April. That clip showed a husky charging into a room, pouncing on its owner in bed, and then making a quick getaway. The husky's owner even commented on the official Pokémon Sleep video, saying they "burst out laughing" when they saw it.

This short film has also got countless netizens reminiscing about their own furry friends. Whether you're a dog or cat owner, many have shared similar experiences: pets rushing in for morning cuddles and playtime, only to bolt once they've had their fill. It's truly struck a chord with so many!
"A Lively Morning with Eevee" is part of Pokémon Sleep's official "Slice-of-Life Pokémon" short film series, which has been incredibly popular. While it's a bit of a bummer that this is the grand finale of the official two-year anniversary project, given how much love it's received, it wouldn't be surprising if we see more in the future!
