Recently, MOVIC announced a new addition to its Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba lineup: a graphic T-shirt inspired by the "Soryu Dojo" from the currently screening film that delves into Akaza's past. Priced at 2,750 JPY, the tee is slated for release in September.

The "Soryu Dojo" is the place where Akaza, before he became the Upper Rank Three demon, lived during the Edo period. In his human life, Akaza was known as Hakuji, a young man who frequently stole to pay for his ailing father's medical treatments, bearing the tattoos of a criminal. After his father's suicide, Hakuji was taken in by Keizo of the Soryu Dojo. There, he was tasked with caring for Keizo's daughter, Koyuki, and began training in martial arts under Keizo's tutelage.
MOVIC's T-shirt design is elegantly simple yet packed with meaning. The back proudly features the bold kanji for "Soryu," mirroring the characters seen on Keizo's and Hakuji's dojo uniforms. On the front, a subtle yet poignant detail: Koyuki's ice crystal hairpin pattern is printed on the left chest.
