From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular action figure series 『S.H.Figuarts』 has announced the latest product from Toei Tokusatsu 《Kamen Rider 555》, the "Side Basshar", scheduled for release in May 2026.
The Side Basshar is a transformable motorcycle developed to support Kamen Rider Kaixa, with a huge sidecar attached to its main body. In its normal vehicle form, it can output a maximum of 950 horsepower and fire light bullets and missile cannons. In battle, it can transform into a bipedal walking tank form, possessing minimal unmanned automatic functions. Its left arm can fire six-barreled missiles, and its right arm's giant claw can engage in close combat.
The "S.H.Figuarts Side Basshar" boasts a large size with a total length of approximately 21 cm. It utilizes numerous precise parts to recreate realistic internal details such as tires, engine, suspension, and pipelines. The headlight and windshield parts also use clear parts to reproduce their texture. The entire vehicle is painted with rich colors like silver, gold, and black to express metallic primary colors and painted textures, and features various markings such as the "SMART BRAIN MOTORS" LOGO.
Through the transformation mechanism built into the main body and the replacement of some dedicated parts on both arms, the powerful battle mode can be achieved. After transformation, the limbs have a certain degree of articulation. Some parts are made of die-cast to ensure load-bearing strength, allowing for dynamic battle poses.
The scale of this product is essentially the same as the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Kaixa / Kamen Rider Faiz", allowing it to be combined to recreate cool riding scenes from the show.
Furthermore, Side Basshar can also be used with the separately sold "S.H.Figuarts Masato Kusaka / Takumi Inui". Accessories include a KAIXA equipment storage box, interchangeable riding hands for two characters, a helmet. It even includes parts to recreate Kusaka's car washing scene, such as gloves, a sponge, a bucket, and detergent.
