Dan Trachtenberg, director of "Prey," is delivering two projects this year. First, the animated feature "Predator: Killer of Killers," the first animated film in the "Predator" franchise, is set to debut on Disney+ this June. Next month, he's heading to theaters with the latest live-action sequel, "Predator: Badlands." With exactly one month until its theatrical release, the studio has strategically unveiled the third and final trailer, along with the main poster (pictured below).

"Badlands" sees Trachtenberg co-writing the screenplay with Patrick Aison, who also co-wrote "Prey." Set in the near future, the film features Elle Fanning as a new synthetic character from the "Alien" franchise, a model manufactured by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation. This marks a long-awaited crossover between the two iconic alien monster IPs, following the "Alien vs. Predator" series.
The film's lead Predator is played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi. While Fanning is a central figure, the movie will uniquely shift its narrative perspective to primarily follow the Predator, a first for the franchise. "Predator: Badlands" is slated for a November 7 release in North American theaters.
