Mark Wahlberg, who just launched "Play Dirty" on Amazon Prime Video earlier this month, is set to return to another streaming platform, Apple TV, next month with the action sequel "The Family Plan 2." The first trailer for the film was released recently. The original "The Family Plan" became Apple TV's most-watched movie upon its debut two years ago, a record held until it was surpassed by "Wolfs" last year.

Simon Cellan Jones returns to direct "The Family Plan 2," with David Coggeshall also back to pen the screenplay. Returning cast members include Michelle Monaghan and Zoe Colletti. New additions to the ensemble feature Kit Harington as the new villain, alongside Reda Elazouar of "Sex Education" fame. The film is slated to premiere on November 21.

The sequel's adventure unfolds during the Christmas holidays, as Wahlberg's character, Dan, plans a perfect international getaway for his wife, Jessica (played by Monaghan), and their children. However, a mysterious figure from Dan's past, carrying unresolved old scores, crashes their festive plans. What begins as a heartwarming family vacation quickly escalates into a bullet-riddled chase across Europe.
