Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular articulated figure series "MAFEX" has unveiled a new product based on the popular R-rated superhero series "The Boys" — the "No.292 Queen Maeve" articulated figure. The suggested retail price is 14,080 JPY, with an estimated release in August 2026!
Queen Maeve is one of the most senior members of The Seven and Homelander's ex-girlfriend. When she first joined Vought as a hero, she, like Starlight at the time, was full of passion and dreams. However, after seeing through Vought's inner workings, she became exhausted and began to self-destruct.
This MAFEX Queen Maeve figure stands approximately 15.5 cm tall, with sculpting handled by Masato Ohata & PERFECT-STUDIO. It captures actress Dominique McElligott's distinctive facial features in a compact size, meticulously recreating her battle suit, which is inspired by Wonder Woman's design. The hair is sculpted to replicate her voluminous long curly hair from the show, which might somewhat limit head articulation. Accessories include two interchangeable head sculpts with different expressions, multiple sets of interchangeable hands, a long sword weapon, and Vought's Brave Maeve Pride Bar. With its flexible articulation, it can be posed alongside previously released characters like Homelander and Soldier Boy to recreate various scenes!
