Nestled within Hyogo Prefecture's Awaji Island Park, the anime theme park "Nijigen no Mori" (ニジゲンノモリ) has become a pilgrimage site for countless fans, thanks to its array of collaborative attractions featuring popular anime IPs.
Now, the park's main attraction, "Godzilla Interception Operation," is gearing up to celebrate its fifth anniversary! To mark this epic milestone, the park has announced a limited-time "Mothra Special Exhibition" at its Godzilla Museum. The exhibition is set to run from December 20, 2025, to September 13, 2026, offering over half a year for fans to pay homage to the most beautiful being in the monster world.

This special exhibition will shine a spotlight on the "Heisei Mothra series" films, giving fans a chance to relive multiple classic Mothra masterpieces. Released between 1996 and 1998, the three "Heisei Mothra series" films feature one of the most beloved monsters in the entire Godzilla universe.

Prepare for an absolutely spectacular exhibition! With the full cooperation of Toho Visual Art, the event will proudly display actual filming props used for both "Mothra" and its larval form from the Heisei Mothra series. But that's not all – visitors will also get to see a recreation of a Mothra egg and a massive 4-meter-long panel, allowing everyone to witness firsthand the magnificent presence of this "Guardian Deity" who fights to protect Earth and humanity.

So, if you find yourself with some free time, Mothra fans, make sure to pilgrimage to Nijigen no Mori on Awaji Island! Beyond the exhibition, the park itself is incredibly fun and highly recommended!
