Bandai's GASHAPON division will release a new product based on the classic anime "Cardcaptor Sakura" – the "Cardcaptor Sakura Stick-On Character Mascot" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in late January 2026!
The story of "Cardcaptor Sakura" follows the protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, who accidentally opens a book sealing the Clow Cards, causing them to scatter across the world. Each Clow Card possesses unique abilities and free will. To prevent the Clow Cards from causing widespread destruction, Sakura becomes a Cardcaptor at the behest of the guardian "Cerberus," attempting to retrieve all the Clow Cards.
The Stick-On Character Mascot (くっつきマスコット) series features an adhesive patch on the character's chest, which, once peeled off, allows them to be affixed to various surfaces such as phone cases or the back of computer monitors! This "Cardcaptor Sakura Stick-On Character Mascot" collection includes four types: Sakura A (featuring her Season 1 outfit), Sakura B (featuring her Clow Card Arc outfit), Sakura C (featuring her Clear Card Arc outfit), and Kero. The figures are crafted in a two-head-tall proportion, meticulously sculpting and recreating the characters' costumes and stylistic details at a height of approximately 5.5 cm. Each design boasts lively poses, and their appearance peeking out from behind a screen is incredibly adorable, making them absolutely perfect as comforting companions for all toy enthusiasts during work!
