Originally conceived as a single film, Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" franchise has, since 2011, occasionally screened a special combined cut titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" exclusively at Tarantino's own New Beverly Cinema. This unique version has never seen a wide theatrical release or an official home video release.
However, breaking tradition, Tarantino has partnered with Lionsgate for an unprecedented nationwide theatrical rollout of "The Whole Bloody Affair" on December 5. Tonight, the first trailer and promotional poster (pictured below) have been unveiled.

"The Whole Bloody Affair" removes the sequel setup at the end of the first film and the recap at the beginning of the second, as these were originally added to facilitate the two-part release. Furthermore, this version features an additional seven minutes of animated footage. The upcoming theatrical run will include both 70mm and 35mm film prints. Currently, "The Whole Bloody Affair" is only scheduled for a theatrical release in the United States, and it is uncertain if international markets will follow suit.
