ZENITH x Lupin the 3rd: Jigen Daisuke's Iconic Anime Watch Jumps to Reality in a Limited-Edition Collab!

Swiss luxury watchmaker ZENITH, founded in 1865, has just dropped some exciting news: a fresh collaboration with the legendary anime Lupin the 3rd! They're bringing the iconic timepiece worn by Daisuke Jigen in the series to life with a limited-edition "Chronomaster Revival Jigen Daisuke Edition" watch.

This ultra-exclusive run is limited to just 200 pieces. It'll hit shelves early on November 19, 2025, at a pop-up store on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Men's in Tokyo and through a Japan-exclusive online boutique. Global sales kick off on November 26 at ZENITH boutiques worldwide and on their official website.

Back in 1969, ZENITH unleashed the groundbreaking El Primero movement and the first watch to house it, the A384. Fast forward two years, and the first season of the Lupin the 3rd anime exploded onto screens, quickly becoming a global sensation.

Interestingly, Lupin's trusty partner, Daisuke Jigen, was depicted twice in the anime wearing a watch strikingly similar to the A384. But here's the kicker: it was purely an animator's creation, a fictional piece that didn't exist in the real world.

Decades later, ZENITH decided it was time to turn that "fictional anime watch" into a tangible reality. They've already dropped three Jigen Daisuke collaboration watches, and this new release marks the fourth installment!

So, what makes this new "Chronomaster Revival Jigen Daisuke Edition" tick? Let's dive in:

First up, the 37mm matte black titanium case. Titanium is already a champ for its lightweight and shock-resistant properties, but with a micro-blasted finish, it transforms into a subtly sophisticated matte dark gray – talk about premium feel!

Then there's the killer combo of a latte-colored dial paired with black chronograph counters. The contrast is sharp, making for a powerful visual statement. Plus, the hands and markers are coated with beige Super-LumiNova, giving it a cool vintage vibe. At its heart beats the El Primero 400 movement, a direct descendant of the legendary 1969 caliber, boasting 1/10th of a second precision and a 50-hour power reserve.

Comprised of over 300 components, the movement is visible through a transparent caseback. And it's not just any sapphire crystal; the caseback also features an engraved silhouette of Daisuke Jigen himself!

Rounding out the package is the Ladder bracelet, a design straight out of 1969 and a classic feature of early El Primero models. Its interwoven, open-worked central links make it incredibly light and breathable. This time, it's been re-created in titanium for a look that's understated yet undeniably premium.
