Next year is shaping up to be a major one for Pixar Animation Studios. In addition to the highly anticipated "Toy Story 5," which just unveiled its first trailer a few days ago and is slated for a summer release, the studio will first debut another original animated feature, "Hoppers," in March. Following its initial trailer release in July, the film today dropped its second trailer along with a brand-new poster (pictured below).
Previously announced voice cast members included Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, and Jon Hamm. Today, Pixar revealed an expanded roster of talent, featuring Dave Franco, Vanessa Bayer, Sam Richardson, and Academy Award winner Meryl Streep.

"Hoppers" is directed by Daniel Chong, best known as the creator of the Cartoon Network animated series "We Bare Bears." Chong also co-wrote the screenplay with Jesse Andrews, who penned "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" and co-wrote Pixar's "Luca."
The plot follows a young girl named Mabel who, determined to protect her beloved local pond from a looming highway construction project, steals a revolutionary technology called Hoppers. This allows her to implant her consciousness into a robot beaver, leading her to uncover unimaginable secrets hidden within the animal world. The film is scheduled for a North American release on March 6.
