"How to Make a Killing" is written and directed by John Patton Ford, known for "Emily the Criminal." The ensemble cast also features Topher Grace, Margaret Qualley, Bill Camp, Ed Harris, and Jessica Henwick, among others.

The official synopsis introduces Beckett Redfellow, whose mother, Mary, was an heir to the vast Redfellow estate but was disinherited from the family at Beckett's birth. After Mary dies impoverished and alone, Beckett vows to fulfill her unachieved ambitions, no matter what sinister deeds are required. Determined to reclaim the inheritance Mary always claimed was stolen, Beckett ruthlessly plots to eliminate the seven Redfellow family members standing between him and his rightful legacy. But can money truly buy happiness? As the heirs mysteriously meet their demise one by one, Beckett becomes increasingly convinced it can. Meanwhile, he must navigate his relationship with his beloved girlfriend, Ruth, for whom money holds no meaning. Complicating matters is his former lover, Julia, who sees money as everything and whose interest in Beckett is rapidly growing.
