In today's increasingly polarized Hollywood, where left and right often clash, it's rare to hear anything positive about Donald J. Trump, unless you're one of the few who openly support him. However, Josh Brolin appears to be an exception. While not a Trump supporter, the actor recently offered a rare public commendation of Trump's unique talents and spoke candidly about their past personal connection.

In a recent interview with The Independent, Brolin stated, "I'm not afraid of Trump. Even if he says he's going to sit in that presidential seat forever, it's simply not going to happen. And if it did, I'd deal with it. But before he was elected president, I was friends with him. I knew him differently then."

Brolin recalled that Trump had a cameo in "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," which is how they met and spent time together. Brolin praised him, saying, "As far as marketing goes, nobody's more brilliant than him — he can grab the public's weaknesses and exploit them. That's why I think a lot of people feel he brings good luck. I think the point isn't really Trump; the point is the public's psychology and their need for validation."
