Michael Sarnoski, the acclaimed director behind "A Quiet Place: Day One," is currently collaborating with A24 on a live-action film adaptation of "Death Stranding." However, before that highly anticipated project begins filming, Sarnoski's latest self-written and directed feature, "The Death of Robin Hood," is set to hit screens. The first official stills from the film have just been released, offering a glimpse at stars Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, and Bill Skarsgård in their respective roles.

"The Death of Robin Hood" delves into the later years of the legendary English outlaw, presenting a starkly different portrayal from the commonly known heroic tales. In this version, Robin Hood grapples with his past acts of violence and murder, reflecting on how the folk legends have romanticized him into a hero far removed from reality. Skarsgård is confirmed to play Little John, Robin Hood's loyal companion. Sarnoski, however, is keeping details about Comer's character tightly under wraps, much like the film's North American release date, which is set for June 19, 2026.
