One Piece fans, get ready! The beloved anime is reportedly teaming up with Nike for an epic collaboration, bringing us a new collection of Air Max Plus sneakers inspired by the series' iconic Devil Fruits and their users. These kicks blend a classic silhouette with distinct character elements, though an official release date for the partnership has yet to be confirmed.

For those unfamiliar, the Air Max Plus, first launched in 1998, is a standout in the Air Max lineage. Its unique wavy upper design and independent forefoot and heel Air units made it an instant hit upon release. With the recent resurgence of retro fashion, this over two-decade-old sneaker has become a go-to choice for many trendsetters.

According to Sneaker Files, three distinct designs are confirmed: Trafalgar Law's Ope Ope no Mi (Op-Op Fruit), Ace's Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit), and Luffy's Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit). Each pair not only sports colors reflecting its respective Devil Fruit but also features the fruit's signature patterns on the upper. All three colorways are incredibly eye-catching!
The collection is also expected to include apparel, though details on those pieces are still under wraps.

While official release info is still pending, this news has already sent sneakerheads and Straw Hat fans into a frenzy. Rumors suggest a Fall 2026 launch, so we'll have to wait for more official updates from the brands.
