Not only are new series still being produced, but this year also marks the franchise's monumental 60th anniversary, with a slew of celebratory events already underway.
Today (12/19), Tsuburaya Productions dropped a bombshell announcement: a massive exhibition, "ULTRAMAN EXHIBITION – Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary Exhibition –," is set to launch in April 2026! The grand tour kicks off in Osaka at Hirakata Park, before making its way across Japan, with stops planned in Fukuoka, Kanagawa, and more.
This newly unveiled "ULTRAMAN EXHIBITION" is the crown jewel of the "Ultraman Series 60th Anniversary Project." It promises an epic journey through 60 years of history, revisiting over 50 series, countless Ultramen, and iconic monsters.
This monumental commemorative exhibition will offer a comprehensive retrospective of the "Ultraman" series' six-decade legacy. Fans can dive into the franchise's evolution, explore classic episode highlights, marvel at intricate diorama displays, and even get hands-on with interactive experiences.

Beyond the series timeline and famous scene retrospectives, the exhibition boasts diverse zones including model displays, photo ops, and an immersive 3D projection space, offering fans a full-spectrum dive into the Ultraman universe.
And there's more! The official team is launching a fan participation project, inviting viewers who grew up with Ultraman or have supported the series for years to submit their "Memories with Ultraman Photos" (ウルトラマンとの思い出写真). Selected photos might even be featured in the main visual, at the exhibition venue, and across Tsuburaya Productions' official social media channels.
