Yūki Tabata's hit manga, "Black Clover," has been a fan favorite for a decade, maintaining strong sales and inspiring a successful TV anime. The first season ran from 2017 to 2021.
Now, the long-awaited second season has officially been announced for a 2026 premiere! The big reveal happened today (12/21) at Jump Festa 2026, complete with a brand-new teaser PV and key visual.

While the first season of the "Black Clover" anime wrapped up in 2021 and was followed by the movie "Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King"—both receiving solid reviews—fans have been eagerly awaiting a proper anime sequel for quite some time.
Meanwhile, the manga's serialization pace has slowed. Creator Yūki Tabata announced in 2023 that the weekly serialization schedule was no longer compatible with his writing progress. After discussions with his editors, the series moved to "Jump GIGA," where it continues at a more measured pace.

The new key visual is pure hype! It centers on Asta in his Devil Union form, flanked by Yuno, Nacht in his Devil Union, and Captain Yami poised to draw his sword. The tagline, "Cut through your limits," perfectly encapsulates the fiery spirit of the upcoming season.

The teaser PV delivers some seriously intense battle scenes, showcasing Asta's right hand glowing with devil power as he infuses anti-magic into his sword. We also get a glimpse of his grueling training with the anti-magic devil, Liebe. The video teases a brand-new battle awaiting the Magic Knights, led by Yuno.
Plus, there's a fantastical moment where Nacht unleashes his "Devil Union" to train Asta, adding to the mysterious vibe unique to this magical fantasy world. Produced by Studio Pierrot, the new series looks absolutely stunning.
