Japanese audio brand ONKYO, known for its frequent collaborations with anime IPs, has previously teamed up with popular titles like ">Solo Leveling and ">Yu-Gi-Oh!, all to great acclaim.
Now, they're back with a fresh collaboration, partnering with the hit anime "Zombieland Saga" (which recently dropped its movie, "Zombieland Saga The Movie: Galaxy Paradise") to launch a new line of wireless Bluetooth earbuds. These special edition earbuds feature designs inspired by four fan-favorite characters and are available for pre-order on ONKYO's official website for ¥20,000.
"Zombieland Saga," an original anime born from the collaboration of MAPPA, avex pictures, and Cygames, first aired its initial season in October 2018. Its unique blend of "zombies x idols x Saga Prefecture" quickly captivated fans, leading to a second season in 2021. This year also saw the release of its theatrical film, "Zombieland Saga The Movie: Galaxy Paradise," which performed well in Taiwan.
This collaboration features four designs inspired by Franchouchou members: Sakura Minamoto, Ai Mizuno, Junko Konno, and Tae Yamada. Each charging case sports the character's signature – with Tae Yamada's featuring her idol nickname, "Zombie No. 0." The earbuds themselves are adorned with character-specific colored ribbons and emblem designs on both sides.
The earbuds themselves are the "CP-TWS01E" model, packing practical features like Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), a low-latency mode, and everyday water resistance. Plus, they come in exclusive packaging featuring brand-new collaboration artwork.
And of course, each pair comes loaded with around 13 unique system voice lines from the respective character's voice actor, letting you enjoy your music alongside your favorite idol!
