As Marvel fans know, Marvel Studios has tapped "Thunderbolts*" director Jake Schreier to helm its new "X-Men" film. Ryan Reynolds is also developing a new film that would team up "X-Men" members with "Deadpool". However, Marvel's plans for mutant-related characters extend far beyond these projects. Renowned entertainment journalist Daniel Richtman recently unveiled further insider details on his Patreon page.

Richtman indicated that in addition to the new "X-Men" film, Marvel is simultaneously planning a brand-new solo "Wolverine" spin-off and several other mutant-centric projects. These initiatives are all slated for Marvel's upcoming phases, signaling a comprehensive push to cultivate the mutant IP. However, Richtman did not specify whether Hugh Jackman would still star in the "Wolverine" spin-off.
Furthermore, Richtman reported that Hayley Atwell, confirmed to return as Agent Carter in "Avengers: Doomsday," will have a substantial role, far exceeding a mere cameo. She is also expected to portray multiple characters.
