The beloved light novel series, written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima, which has spawned a hit TV anime, a movie, and even a spin-off, "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!", is celebrating its 10th anime anniversary this year!
During tonight's (1/13) "KonoSuba Anime 10th Anniversary Live Stream" on YouTube, officials unveiled a special 10th-anniversary visual, teased upcoming projects, and, most excitingly, officially announced that Season 4 of the anime is now in production!
It's been almost two years since "KonoSuba's" third season aired back in April 2024, and a full decade since the first season premiered in 2016 – truly a milestone! To mark the occasion, official anniversary visuals and a special logo have been released for fans to celebrate with.
To kick off the 10th-anniversary festivities, a massive celebration event is slated for July 26, 2026, in Yokohama! More guest announcements and detailed information are expected around March. For now, it's confirmed that main voice actors Jun Fukushima, Sora Amamiya, Rie Takahashi, Ai Kayano, and Machico will all be in attendance.
And that's not all! An official 10th-anniversary anime exhibition is also confirmed, set to open in Akihabara in Fall 2026. Details on exhibits and more will be revealed later.
A brand-new mobile game was also announced! Titled "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World! ~May This Lovely City Prosper!~" (この素晴らしい世界に祝福を！～この愛すべき街に繁栄を！～), this official original story game is supervised by original author Natsume Akatsuki and features cooperation from original illustrator Kurone Mishima. It's slated for release on mobile and PC platforms in 2026, with an official website already live.
And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for: Season 4 is officially happening! The only catch is that the official broadcast date hasn't been revealed yet. Stay tuned, fans, as more information is sure to drop soon!
