Lotte's Sweet Play: Miyazaki Sports Park Facilities Renamed After Iconic Snacks, Including "Koala's March Baseball Stadium," Fans Are Loving It!

LOTTE, the renowned Japanese snack giant, is practically synonymous with its beloved treats like "Koala's March" and "Pie no Mi," which are among the brand's most household names.

In a recent move that's got everyone talking, Lotte has snagged the priority negotiation rights for the naming of three facilities within Miyazaki Prefecture's Miyakonojo Sports Park. Starting February 1st, these venues will officially sport brand-new, deliciously themed names: the "Miyakonojo Koala's March Baseball Stadium," the "Miyakonojo Pie no Mi Dome," and the "Miyakonojo Coolish Pitching Practice Field." Naming them all after their popular snacks? Pure genius, and it instantly went viral!

It's no coincidence either; the Miyakonojo Sports Park has been the spring training ground for the Chiba Lotte Marines (also part of the Lotte Group) since February 2025. So, Lotte swooping in to brand the entire complex with its own products is a brilliant flex of corporate synergy and brand power.

Specifically, the former Miyakonojo Sports Park Baseball Stadium will now be known as the "Koala's March Baseball Stadium." This field boasts 99-meter left and right fields, a 122-meter center field, and seating for 3,000 in the infield and another 3,000 in the outfield.

With such adorable names, all inspired by Lotte's beloved snacks and drinks, many baseball fans are buzzing about the fresh, unique vibe these stadiums will bring. The cute atmosphere offers a refreshing contrast to the usual intensity of baseball, and it's definitely scoring points with the local community.

Of course, the Chiba Lotte Marines often feature Koala's March in their game-day promotions, so having the actual stadiums branded feels like the ultimate corporate-local partnership. It's a home run for everyone!
