Written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara, the Japanese manga Fist of the North Star (also known as Hokuto no Ken) boasts over 40 years of history, with a new anime, "Fist of the North Star -FIST OF THE NORTH STAR-", slated for broadcast in 2026.
Recently, illustrator Tetsuo Hara attended an event at the Musashino Tax Office in Tokyo to promote the government's "e-Tax" mobile electronic tax filing system. He later shared his "tax filing" experience on his X account, where he also gave away autographed shikishi art boards at the event, much to the delight of fans.

Hara stated in his post: "I experienced filing my final tax return via smartphone at the Musashino Tax Office, and also gave away autographed shikishi art boards at the venue."
He also unveiled hand-drawn illustrations featuring iconic Fist of the North Star-style catchphrases adapted for the occasion, like "My mobile tax filing has no regrets!!" and "You are already e-Taxed!!"

The post immediately sparked a flurry of enthusiastic fan responses, with comments like: "Hara-sensei, that shikishi art is unbelievable…", "Kenshiro and Raoh are basically unemployed, they shouldn't even need to file taxes lol", "Kenshiro and Raoh would probably break a smartphone w", and "This is totally 'Hokuto Tax Fist' (lol)". The post was flooded with both playful jabs and praise.

While it was a promotional event organized by the government, Tetsuo Hara's special shikishi illustrations still blew fans away and earned massive praise for his incredible artistry. And honestly, with Kenshiro and Raoh promoting tax payments, you'd better not even *think* about tax evasion! XD
