Seven years after the original, the sequel to "Ready or Not," titled "Ready or Not: Here I Come," is finally set to hit North American theaters next month. Last night, distributor Searchlight Pictures officially released a second trailer packed with even more bloody, body-exploding carnage, along with the main poster (below).
Samara Weaving returns as the lead, joined by a new cast that includes Kathryn Newton as her sister, along with Elijah Wood, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, and Kevin Durand. Famed sci-fi horror director David Cronenberg, known for his frequent supporting roles, also joins the ensemble. They will portray the various new families hunting the two sisters.

The film is once again helmed by the original directing duo, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The first film's writers, Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, also returned to pen the screenplay.
Official synopsis: After narrowly surviving her hunt by the Le Domas family, Grace discovers she has been promoted to the next level of the nightmarish game. This time, she is joined by her long-estranged sister, Faith. With only one chance to survive, Grace must stay alive to protect her sister and seize the ultimate prize: the top seat on a secret council that controls the world. Meanwhile, four rival families are also hunting her for the throne. Whoever wins, rules the world. The film is scheduled for a March 20 release in North America.
