The "A Quiet Place" franchise, known for its consistent box office success, has long confirmed a third installment, previously slated for a July 30, 2027 release. After a period of silence, John Krasinski, who serves as director for the main series, screenwriter for the entire franchise, and star of the first film, finally took to social media today to announce several new additions to the cast for the upcoming sequel.
Earlier, Krasinski posted a photo on social media featuring several cards with actors' names, revealing the full cast lineup. Alongside returning stars Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe, Cillian Murphy, and Millicent Simmonds, the film will welcome three new cast members: Jack O'Connell, who recently gained significant attention for his villainous role in "Sinners"; Jason Clarke, known for portraying John Connor in "Terminator Genisys"; and Katy O'Brian.
Interestingly, Clarke, Murphy, and Blunt also shared the screen in "Oppenheimer," where they had brief scenes together.
