Gossip outlet TMZ recently broke the exclusive news that Quentin Tarantino is developing a six-episode mini-series with Sylvester Stallone. The project is set to feature elements of "gangsters, showgirls, boxing, and music." Uniquely, the series will be set in the 1930s, utilizing period-appropriate cameras and presented entirely in black and white. Stallone will co-direct with Tarantino but will not act in the series, while Tarantino will also serve as the screenwriter.

Since completing "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood," Tarantino has stated his intention to shift his focus to writing books, stage plays, and television series. He has indeed been making good on those promises, having already published two books. Just days ago, he announced that his British farce stage play, "The Popinjay Cavalier," will premiere next year in London's West End , and now he's diving into this new mini-series. As for Tarantino's much-discussed tenth and final film, it appears fans will have to wait a while longer.
