Award-winning director Oliver Stone, known for "Wall Street," has primarily focused on documentary production in recent years. Last year, rumors surfaced about his return to narrative features with "White Lies," a project he's been developing for a decade. Now, the film's lead cast has finally been unveiled: Josh Hartnett and Leila George, daughter of Marvel's "Daredevil" villain Vincent D'Onofrio.
Eight years ago, Benicio del Toro was originally slated to star in the film, but he has since exited the project, with Hartnett now taking over the lead role.

Written and directed by Stone, "White Lies" has officially commenced production. The film's narrative spans three generations, centering on Jack (the role originally intended for del Toro), a man from a divorced family who finds himself repeating his parents' patterns in his own marriage and with his troubled son. Feeling trapped, Jack embarks on a quest for freedom, only to find himself in an even more bewildering situation. His life's trajectory shifts when he encounters a woman whose path is entirely opposite to his own, setting him on a journey of self-rediscovery.
