Eighth Reiwa Rider "Kamen Rider MY-TH" Officially Unveiled! Naomi Takebe Teases "Unexpected Small Creature" Theme

During the "Kamen Rider 55th Anniversary Presentation" on April 3rd, the official title for the eighth Reiwa Rider series was finally revealed as "Kamen Rider MY-TH," alongside its official logo.

This brand-new TV series follows "Kamen Rider ZEZTZ," but details like its broadcast schedule, cast, and plot are still under wraps. The official announcement simply teased fans with a "please look forward to future updates."

However, a small hint about the new Rider's key "design inspiration" was dropped! Toei producer Naomi Takebe revealed that the clues are embedded in the logo itself: it's triangular, somewhat hollow, and yellow. She added that while the original Kamen Rider was based on an insect (a grasshopper), this new series will continue the tradition of "unexpected" creature designs. Specifically, it will be a "very small creature" that possesses incredible power to fight.

What direction "Kamen Rider MY-TH" will take is currently a complete mystery. The title "MY-TH" itself brings to mind "myth" or "legend," but how that will play out remains to be seen. With the official channels keeping tight-lipped, all we can do is eagerly await more information!
