Hirohiko Araki Draws Kingdom's Ouki in Full-Blown JoJo Style, Fans Go Wild: 'His Stand Power Must Be Insane!'

Whenever Hirohiko Araki, the mastermind behind "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure," is mentioned, thoughts often turn to his ageless appearance, earning him the nickname "the man whose time stands still." Now 65, he continues to create groundbreaking manga.

As "Kingdom" celebrates its 20th anniversary, various manga artists were invited to contribute commemorative illustrations. Recently, Hirohiko Araki's piece was unveiled, featuring Ouki from "Kingdom" rendered entirely in his signature "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" style. The illustration has sent fans and netizens into a frenzy, becoming an instant hot topic.

The official X (formerly Twitter) account dropped the illustration, instantly sparking discussion. Ouki is depicted saying, "Actually, I don't dislike long-range battles... Kokokokoko," with the dialogue and presentation being pure Araki.

Of course, this illustration is a homage to a scene from Yasuhisa Hara's original "Kingdom" manga. But even so, that "Kokokokoko" alone screams JoJo.

Hirohiko Araki also commented, "Congratulations to 'Kingdom' on its 20th anniversary. It's truly a work befitting such a milestone. I feel honored to have drawn Ouki."

Netizens went wild in the comments section, with many hilarious reactions: "That 'Kokokokoko' totally looks like 'Gogogogo'!" "I desperately want to see an Araki-style Kingdom anime!" "Feels like King Crimson is about to activate any second now!" "He looks like he's about to compete in the Steel Ball Run across the continent!" "That's definitely a long-range, power-type Stand!"

Araki's illustration perfectly captures what Ouki would look like if he stepped into the JoJo universe. The sheer intensity of his style is absolutely captivating.
