"Pokémon Champions" hit the shelves with a flurry of bugs, but developer The Pokémon Works is already on the case, announcing a patch to fix a slew of issues. We're talking Mega Evolution glitches, incorrect move effect displays, and even Pokémon gender mix-ups in the tutorial mode. This rapid-fire announcement, coming just one day after launch, shows the devs are hustling to address player feedback on the game's rocky debut.

Here's a rundown of the upcoming fixes:
● Incorrect description for "Leech Seed" status effect
Incorrect description: Loses 1/16 of max HP each turn
Correct description: Loses 1/8 of max HP each turn (though the actual in-battle calculation is correct)
● Action order may become abnormal when both Pokémon Mega Evolve simultaneously under specific conditions
● Incorrect genders for some Pokémon in tutorial mode
● Incorrect genders for some Pokémon in published Co-op Teams
● The "Lightning Rod" ability may not activate correctly under the "Encore" status
● When viewing move details in battle, if the cursor is on "Mega Evolution" and the B button is pressed, moves cannot be selected
(If this occurs, temporarily resolve by pressing the "-" button to open and close the surrender window)
On top of that, the devs noted a communication error that can pop up when sending Pokémon on expeditions from "Pokémon HOME." That's also getting patched in a future update.
"Pokémon Champions" has seen a mixed reception since launch, with players widely reporting unstable performance, a lack of content, and a limited Pokémon roster. This swift patch announcement is a clear move by the developers to smooth out the launch experience.
