The manga series The Promised Neverland, penned by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu, is hitting its 10th serialization anniversary this year. To celebrate, the official team has announced a brand-new spin-off one-shot, slated for publication in Weekly Shonen Jump this summer (2026). This marks the first new material for the series in nearly six years since its conclusion.

Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020, The Promised Neverland quickly became a fan favorite. The thrilling fantasy story follows a group of children living seemingly peaceful lives in an orphanage, only to discover they are actually being raised as "food for demons." What follows is their desperate, nail-biting escape plan.
The series later spawned two seasons of a TV anime and a live-action film, with its cumulative circulation now exceeding 42 million copies.

To hype things up, a sneak peek at some of the special spin-off's storyboard drafts (names) has also been released for fans.
The 10th-anniversary project also includes pop-up shops and the series' first-ever musical adaptation, set to debut in winter 2026.

The pop-up shop visuals feature a brand-new 10th-anniversary illustration by Posuka Demizu herself, showcasing grown-up Emma, Norman, and Ray.

This 10th-anniversary celebration, coming six years after the series concluded, is definitely something fans of The Promised Neverland won't want to miss. Get ready to see what new story this special spin-off brings when it hits Weekly Shonen Jump this summer!
