Universal Pictures has rolled out an innovative new promotional campaign for Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, "The Odyssey," inviting audiences to join the movie's official Discord server for a cross-platform interactive experience dubbed "A Digital Odyssey." Within just one week of its launch, the server has attracted over 100,000 users, signaling immense anticipation for the epic new project.

According to official information, Universal Pictures recently revealed on Instagram that entering "50.230.145.19" into a browser's URL bar directs users to "The Odyssey"'s official Discord. Upon entering the server, users are welcomed as "drifters" and receive a message hinting at a journey filled with secrets, suggesting the event will unfold progressively over time.
The official Discord currently features multiple channels, including "journey-chat" for users to discuss passwords, clues, and discoveries, and "discord-quests" for tracking missions and rewards. The campaign is also set to extend across platforms such as Reddit, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, Roblox, and Google Maps, with each potentially hiding new clues and unlockable content.

Matt Damon, who portrays "Odysseus" in the film, personally kicked off the first Discord mission. This initial quest engaged over 1.2 million users, who collectively contributed 4 million wooden planks to construct a massive Trojan horse, marking one of the campaign's most significant interactive achievements to date.
"The Odyssey" is slated to hit theaters on July 17, 2026.
