First launched in 2001, the network battle-themed series, Mega Man Battle Network, from the iconic Mega Man franchise, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year!
To commemorate this milestone, two special collaborative glass cups crafted using the traditional Japanese art of "Edo Kiriko" have been released. Featuring Mega Man and Proto Man designs, these glasses are limited to just 150 units each. Pre-orders are currently open at "Yuruwa*", a Japanese-style general goods store operated on CAMPFIRE.

Set in the technologically advanced 20XX, the world of Mega Man Battle Network sees everyone owning a "Personal Terminal" (PET), which houses an emotional artificial intelligence program called a NetNavi. The story follows protagonist Lan Hikari and his NetNavi Mega Man, along with their allies, as they battle against cybercrime syndicates.
With the internet booming in 2001, Mega Man Battle Network's setting felt incredibly unique and futuristic. Its blend of action-RPG and card-based combat (Battle Chips) was groundbreaking. Unfortunately, many fans lamented that the series didn't continue its run after *Mega Man Star Force*, leaving a void for dedicated players.

These limited-edition Mega Man Battle Network Edo Kiriko glasses beautifully combine the silhouettes of NetNavis Mega Man and Proto Man, their navigation icons, and traditional Edo Kiriko patterns. The result is a truly premium feel, with each design strictly limited to 150 pieces.

▼ Mega Man Edition
This vibrant lapis lazuli blue glass, Mega Man's signature color, features delicate sandblasting that evokes the digital blocky aesthetic of the cyberworld. The traditional "Seven Treasures pattern" on the side, symbolizing an infinite connection of circles, represents "destiny" and "bonds." This design perfectly mirrors the strong bond between operators and their NetNavis, as well as the boundless expanse of the internet.
Mega Man's silhouette is etched on the front, while his navigation emblem is subtly designed into the base. When a drink is poured, the emblem faintly appears, creating an immersive "cyberworld" effect. Holding this glass, you might just hear that iconic, electrifying phrase: "Plug In!"
Each glass comes in a luxurious paulownia wood box, making it perfect for display and collection.

▼ Proto Man Edition
Crafted from Proto Man's distinctive deep red glass, this edition uses sandblasting to elegantly depict his ready-to-strike, sword-wielding pose. The sharp, curved cuts on the side symbolize Proto Man's cool and precise sword skills, while the surrounding traditional "Arrow Fence pattern" is designed to resemble countless intersecting sword slashes. Japanese artisans have meticulously condensed Proto Man's overwhelming combat prowess into this glass design with incredibly fine craftsmanship.
Proto Man's navigation emblem is also etched into the base, and when a drink is poured, the red emblem glows through, showcasing the unique beauty of Edo Kiriko. This edition also includes a premium paulownia wood collector's box featuring a full-body illustration of Proto Man, making it an ideal display piece.
