The manga series Delicious in Dungeon, created by Ryoko Kui, won over many fans after its TV anime adaptation, thanks to its classic fantasy setting paired with the delightfully original concept of cooking inside a dungeon.
Today (June 2), the official account announced that new information for Delicious in Dungeon Season 2—previously confirmed to be in production—will be unveiled at Anime Expo 2026, which takes place in Los Angeles, USA, on July 4.
The latest Season 2 updates will be revealed during TRIGGER’s stage event at Anime Expo 2026. Since no specific details have been disclosed yet, fans are already anticipating possible announcements such as a new promotional trailer, broadcast timing, new character reveals, and updates on production progress or behind-the-scenes details.
In addition to the new anime updates, the web radio program Delicious in Dungeon ~Dungeon Exploration Radio~—which was well received during the anime’s original broadcast run—has also been confirmed to return with a brand-new episode on July 5 at 9:00 PM.
The show will once again be hosted by Kentarō Kumagai, the voice of Laios, and Sayaka Senbongi, the voice of Marcille. During the program, the two will sample dishes inspired by the series’ “monster cuisine” while sharing the latest news on Delicious in Dungeon Season 2. Alongside returning fan-favorite segments, new企劃 are also planned, and the official team is currently accepting listener submissions for the show.
Season 2 was originally announced back in 2024, and fans are now finally about to get the next wave of official updates.
